Out of Game Rules and Expectations
Our History
Chaos is the Game released it's beta round on Tumblr in 2018, starting with just a little over 80 applicants and players.
For various reasons, many players left along the road, in most part due to a slow update schedule when the project was handled by one person.
Despite this, Chaos continues to live on through a small and loving community.
Much to our sadness, the first round did not play out as intended, and many concepts needed to be scrapped, altering the original vision altogether.
Some of our original players remain, and banded together with its sole creator to bring life to a renewed version of the project and universe.
This project, provided by the now solidified company of individuals: Mycelium Sacellum, is what we hope you'll choose to experience with us this time.
Trigger Warnings and Disclaimers
We will never ask you to do something that endangers you or others for the tasks that Chaos is the Game provides to its participants. If you are having trouble completing a task without the harm to yourself and others, please reach out (out of character) to one of our administrators. We will be happy to provide solutions or alternative tasks to those who request accommodation (where possible).
Age of Participation Requirements
All participants will be required to be 18+ (both in and out of character) at minimum, and we will privately request ID verification of such (likely over discord or otherwise) due to the nature of the themes portrayed in our works. We would also prefer our audience be 18+, but understand that we cannot reliably regulate a larger audience due to the anonymized nature of the internet. If you are selected to participate, and are unwilling to verify your out of game age, we will not continue with your induction as a player character and will find another candidate. Regarding this, we simply ask that you comply with our above requests to safeguard your health in defense of your personal best interests.
Content Warnings
Chaos is the Game and our affiliate projects contain graphic and unsettling subject matter. This content may be difficult for some viewers, and we ask that you exercise your best judgement in preserving your physical and mental health while interacting with our projects as a participant or viewer.
